Back in February, Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney came face-to-face for their kick-off press conference in New York City to promote their twelve-round fight on April 20. While the two butted heads, Haney accused Garcia of taking drugs, something that shocked the entire boxing world. Meanwhile, Garcia’s frantic behavior online since then hasn’t helped those accusations.

Nevertheless, with mere five days left in the clash scheduled to unfold at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, Garcia hopped on social media with an interesting revelation. The Victorville native shared the email he received from VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association), announcing the doping test results for the upcoming fight against Haney!

Turning to Instagram, Garcia shared the test results from VADA, revealing he tested negative for any performance-enhancing drugs from samples collected on February 26, 2024. While Garcia refrained from saying anything about the test on Instagram, the same cannot be said about his post on X.

Sharing the same email on X, Garcia captioned it “Tell Me how,” implying he isn’t sure how he managed to pass the test. However, it’s worth mentioning that during the New York press conference, Garcia responded to Haney’s accusations, stating, “I want to clarify some things. I don’t do coc*ine, I would do a live drug test… I drink, and I smoke we*d, and so has the majority of this room.” Moreover, it wasn’t just Devin Haney who had accused the 25-year-old boxer of using drugs.

Sean O’Malley has previously expressed his desire to compete in a boxing match, and Ryan Garcia was one of his potential opponents. However, after Garcia began his X rampage, O’Malley’s thoughts about Garcia turned more sympathetic. During the UFC 299 press conference, one reporter brought up Garcia’s tweets.

In response, ‘Suga’ said, “Coc*ine’s a hell of a drug. I think he’s on drugs, and he’s acting [like] a fool. [I] feel bad for him more than anything, you know?” In addition, O’Malley thought the potential cross-over fight with Garcia was now out of the question. “It wouldn’t be my fault that fight doesn’t happen. So, yeah. Realistically, that will never happen,” said O’Malley.

After all the drug-related allegations levied against him, Ryan Garcia has seemingly cleared his name with the VADA test results. However, it still doesn’t explain his behavior online, which is growing more and more concerning every day. What do you think about the VADA test?
