Ryan Garcia is on cloud nine after his shocking win over long-time rival Devin Haney, last Saturday night. And now, ‘King Ry’ is celebrating his breakthrough win on social media with a meme. However, the Victorville native’s mother, Lisa M Garcia, doesn’t seem to be onboard with it, which became clear on social media today!

All throughout the buildup of the fight, Ryan Garcia maintained his tirade of tweets on bizarre and unsubstantiated claims while drugs and alcohol abuse allegations came to light. Meanwhile, Devin Haney remained the favorite, checking all the boxes of a respectable athlete. However, none of that mattered, as Garcia stole the fight from under Haney. So, when Garcia shared this meme on social media, his mother branded it “whack.”

Ryan Garcia asks “Who made this shiiii??”

Turning to Instagram, Garcia shared a meme comparing him and Haney’s behavior in the lead up to the fight. Under Haney, the meme mentioned, “wakes up at 4:30am every morning to train, no drugs or alcohol, listens to his trainer, diets, sparring, trains 5 times a day and runs 8 miles every day.”

Meanwhile, under Garcia the memes mentioned, “Alcohol, and Thank you Jesus,” highlighting the irony in the results of the fight despite Haney’s hard work. Ryan shared the meme asking, “Who made this shiiii?? Bruh, what? I’m peeing bro. This is gutz. My cheeks hurt, pause.”

However, his mother quickly responded to the post, asking, “Why even post this? It’s whack.” Interestingly, Lisa Garcia plays a pivotal role in the rising star’s life. While his father acts as the wise mentor to him, his mother is in charge of Ryan’s business endeavors, supporting him from behind the scenes. Lisa and Henry? They have been rocking the marriage game for over 26-years with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Garcia’s mother might not have seen the humor behind the post, but someone else has learned a humorous lesson from the entire ordeal.

Not long ago, Tim Tszyu saw the bloodiest fight of his career against Sebastian Fundora. Besides, he even lost his WBO super welterweight title in one of the biggest upsets of the year. So, seeing Garcia defy the odds against Haney to create an upset, he wrote on X, “I’m going to start drinking beer from now on after the weigh in. @RyanGarcia what a performance! Wow.”

Interestingly, Australia’s Tszyu wasn’t alone in such a revelation! Even former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson shared the epiphany while reacting to Garcia’s dominant performance. Sharing a clip of his reaction on Instagram, Johnson wrote, “I was WRONG about @kingryan, I gotta start drinking before every fight now!”

Jokes aside, Ryan Garcia seems to be having the time of his life after his win over Haney. However, the question is: Can he maintain this career-best performance in future fights? If yes, who will he fight next? Who would you want Garcia to fight next? Or are you hoping for a quick rematch?
