Not so long ago, the 24-1 super lightweight boxer was in the talks to face Rolly Romero and Devin Haney before that. However, his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, revealed Romero prized himself out, and Garcia dropped the fight against Haney, a decision some believe was influenced by Floyd Mayweather. Despite all that, Ryan Garcia seems positive about a fight soon.

A couple of hours after the post went live on the platform, famed coach Derrick James commented, “Look like you are ready to start camp.” Wasting no time, Garcia responded to the comment with an agreeable remark, “You know it!” However, there’s no solid confirmation on who the opponent could be – one of the contenders for Garcia is Isaac Cruz, claims Sean Gibbons.

During an interview with Betway of late, ‘Pitbull’ Cruz’s promoter claimed, “Ryan Garcia for two years has called out Isaac Cruz, talked sh!t about him.” He went on to suggest that even “Manny Pacquiao wants to see Isaac Cruz fight Ryan Garcia.” Gibbons claims even though Floyd Mayweather wants a fight between Garcia and Romero, “the fight that needs to be made is Ryan vs Pitbull,” said Gibbons.

Gibbons also added that Isaac Cruz has one of the biggest fan following in the Hispanic community, comparable to Canelo Alvarez. He acknowledged that Garcia “has a huge crossover following too outside of boxing,” said Gibson. So, he claims a fight between Isaac Cruz and Ryan Garcia has “all of the makings of a huge fight,” said Cruz’s promoter.

As the entire boxing world is engaged in discovering who Garcia would fight next, the Victorville native is hinting at a fight announcement soon to be made public. Who do you think Garcia will fight next? Let us know in the comments section.
