Ryan Garcia Reveals the Real Reason Why His Fight With Gervonta Davis Will Never Happen

Fans around the globe have expressed their interest in watching Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis’ fight umpteen times. Both of them have shown tremendous promise until now, and they fairly rank as the best prodigies in the sport. However, fans want to see who among the two holds real weight and can go ahead to become a legend.

Unfortunately, per Ryan Garcia, his fight with Gervonta Davis might never happen. Recently, Michael Benson shared ‘King Ry’s video, wherein he’s seen addressing this juncture.

I do beat Davis, I do. But he’s not gonna fight anybody outside of Mayweather Promotions, is what Floyd said. So you guys gotta stop commenting that Gervonta’s never gonna fight. I don’t think anybody that you really want me to fight. So this is just killed out right now. Floyd gave that away,” he said.

‘Tank’ Davis has been associated with Floyd Mayweather‘s promotional company since the very beginning. ‘Money’ has helped Davis rise to the top with some smart booking decisions. However, Mayweather isn’t interested in booking any of Davis’s fights outside his promotions.

As in, if any fighter wishes to fight ‘Tank’ Davis, he will have to ink a deal with Mayweather Promotions. As Garcia has thrived under Golden Boy Promotions, a move seems unlikely.
