The lightweight contender and one of the biggest rising prospects in the lightweight division, Ryan Garcia, shot himself in the foot while reflecting his thoughts on celebrity boxing sensation Jake Paul.

Recently, the former WBC interim lightweight titleholder took to an interview with ‘The MMA Hour’ to discuss the most anticipated return this Saturday night.

However, at the end of the interview, the host asked ‘KingRy’, if he is Jake Paul’s fan. As if ‘The Flash’ was ready for this question. He poured his love for ‘The Problem Child’ in a brief response.

The 23-year-old said, “I love Jake. Jake’s my guy. I got nothing bad to say. I hope he keeps doing good making all the right decisions. I mean obviously he’s beating everybody that he’s fighting most boxers are fighting guys that they don’t have to fight at all any way. I can’t really claim that he is doing something wrong.”

Notably, Ryan Garcia is going to collide with the 10th best lightweight by The Ring, Emmanuel Tagoe. Interestingly, he had already endured the ire of boxing critics and fans to choose the Ghanian pugilist for his comeback fight, and, while commenting on the social media personality, he foolishly harmed his own cause.

A fan mentioned, “you’re one of those guys that fight people who don’t know how to fight.”

Another fan-supported this comment and wrote,” facts bro.”

When did Ryan Garcia fight last?

The star boxer took to the ring last year in January against Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell. Notably, he suffered the first knockdown of his career with a left hook from the opponent in the second round. However, ‘KingRy’ recovered and went all guns blazing to settle the tie.

As of now, ‘The Flash’ is going to rumble after months of layoff with the new coach Joe Goossen as he could not sit well with his previous team.
