The Unified lightweight champion George “Ferocious” Kambosos Jr. is the new boxing star hailing from Australia. Notably, he dethroned former unified champion, Teofimo Lopez, in November 2021 and sent a spark through the boxing world.

Thereafter, he involved himself in the war of words with other lightweight pugilists on social media.

Firstly, with WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney and now with World’s third active lightweight, Ryan Garcia.

‘KingRy’ took to Twitter and made a strong remark on Kambosos Jr. Notably, the unified champion is keen to fight in his homeland, Australia. He is making these remarks to drag his opponents into the ring and create hype for the upcoming fight. Further, Ryan challenged ‘The Emperor’ that whatever the latter wants, he can do, but he will never succeed in reaching or surpassing him.

‘The Flash’ wrote, ” It’s a shame been out the game for a year and my name still resonates much larger then all the lightweights combined don’t worry whatever route you choose just know you’d never catch up or beat me.” 

This stern remark was made in response to Kambosos Jr.’s tweet on ‘KingRy’.

It is still uncertain after months who is the next opponent of ‘Ferocious’. However, the probable opponents are most likely Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, and Vasyl Lomachenko. As of now, ‘The Emperor’ is busy with verbal beef on Twitter with Ryan Garcia.

Prior to ‘KingRy’s response, Kambosos Jr. made a mocking remark and called Ryan a kid. ‘Ferocious’ knows that Ryan Garcia is the probable opponent, as both are battling in the lightweight division. However, ‘The Flash’ is stripped of his belts because he could not step inside the ring because of a wrist injury.

George Kambosos Jr. wrote, “Your a good kid Ryan I like you but take a ticket buddy and try not to pull a heart string again or injure yourself shadow boxing with your eyes closed you might run into a wall.”

There is a probability that this verbal beef might end in the Ring in the coming months.
