Seckbach asked Garcia whether his son would fight in 2022. Garcia said, “Ryan’s doing really good. He’s coming back. Absolutely, he’s going to be shocking the world.” Sekhbach then asked Henry Garcia who ‘KingRy’ would fight next.

“Well you know, there’s a few people that we want you know. But it could be Cruz, it could be Barbosas, it could be Teo. There’s a lot of lightweights out there that we’re interested in.” Henry Garcia said.

Ryan Garcia and Isaac Cruz have been going back and forth on social media following ‘Pitbull’s loss to Gervonta Davis. Isaac Cruz won the heart of fight fans that night and showed that he is a threat for anyone in the division.

Cruz has a very good chin and does not back away from a fight, even against one of the hardest punchers in the division in the form of Gervonta Davis. This will be an interesting fight to make against Garcia, and it will be his toughest test so far.

Golden Boy Promotions are pushing for a Ryan Garcia vs Isaac Cruz match

Oscar De La Hoya’s promotional company Golden Boy Promotions represents Ryan Garcia. Isaac Cruz is signed to Manny Pacquiao’s promotional company MP Promotions. According to reports, Golden Boy Promotions is trying to set up the fight for March or April next year.

According to Chris Mannix, the promotion company doesn’t want Garcia to fight Cruz since he is coming off over a year-long break. Fighting someone as tough as Cruz for his comeback fight could prove disastrous for Garcia.
