However, he was recently warned by his father about a noteworthy juncture.

Garcia’s father, Henry Garcia, posted a sparring video of ‘King Ry’ and his brother Sean Garcia.

Here, he came up with a warning for Ryan Garcia.

Taking it to his Instagram, he wrote, “Even though there’s cameras rolling, KingRy and brother Sean still need to be careful during sparring. Every punch counts. Here is Ryan displaying speed and precision with little power; whereas Sean displays power shots. Let’s Goo!”

Garcia, in the above video, didn’t land his best shots. And as his father mentioned, ‘King Ry’ displayed speed and precision with ‘little power’. A few months back, Ryan Garcia injured his hand, post which he remained calculated in his training sessions.

Also, ‘King Ry’ dropped a training video a few days back. In this video too, he refrained from using his right hand.

Garcia is one of the most skilled young boxers inside the ring in recent times and he’s proven the same many times until now. However, his return fight might be different depending on his recovery and mental space.

Ryan Garcia is eager to compensate for his dismal 2021 boxing run, by staying active throughout this year. The 23-year-old might look to compete thrice to add some stellar wins to his resume.
