After falling short against the ‘Tank’ inside the ring, Issac Cruz can land up in a potential fight against Ryan Garcia in 2022. The high-voltage lightweight thriller is already in the news, with both sides offering a war of words to each other. Garcia and his promoter Oscar De La Hoya seem adamant about staging a lucrative fight for the former WBC interim champion.

While Gervonta Davis cracked up Cruz in his latest outing, ‘KingRy’ wants to try his skills against ‘Pitbull’ too. Having fought Luke Campbell in January 2020, Garcia has been out of action for over a year. He is yet to receive an official fight.

Oscar De La Hoya is clearly pressing forward to bring Isaac Cruz against his star prodigy. Meanwhile, Team Golden Boy may have become a bit too adamant about bagging the fight and have explained themselves totally on social media. De La Hoya wrote on Twitter and offered a bigger amount to Isaac Cruz than what he earned from facing Gervonta Davis. Nevertheless, he claimed to have received a declination from Cruz’s side.

While De La Hoya brought the fight talks to the limelight, Sean Gibbons expressed his stance and didn’t seem very interested in putting Cruz against Garcia. While De La Hoya further claimed to be eager to host the best matchups, Gibbons still didn’t buy his claims.
