32-year-old Chris Eubank Jr. seems unfazed by Conor Benn’s bold claims and has warned ‘The Destroyer’ of horrific consequences if they ever meet inside the ring. Although Benn is still undefeated and has been on a prominent rise, Eubank Jr. sees him as easy work.
Well, Conor Benn’s father, Nigel Benn, had actually begun the war of words. Despite residing at 147 lbs, Conor Benn was pitched by his father as a viable opponent for Eubank Jr, who had his last fight at 160 lbs. Chris Eubank Jr. seemed flawless and took out Liam Williams through a boxing clinic and earned a deserving win via decision.

20-0 as a pro, Conor Benn has been demanding a title shot for several months. Following his KO win over Chris Algieri, ‘The Destroyer’ called out Amir Khan. However, ‘King’ ignored it, ending hopes of a blockbuster matchup for Conor Benn.
The welterweight division is currently stacked too and doesn’t cite Benn anywhere close to the championship scene. WBO titlist Terence Crawford has just defended his belt against Shawn Porter. Meanwhile, WBA champion Yordenis Ugas and WBC-IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. will lock horns in a unification bout shortly. So, Benn is seemingly trying to hunt other fighters who can enrich his legacy. And Chris Eubank Jr. clearly falls in that bracket.
