Oleksandr Usyk was almost flawless in his heavyweight title victory against Anthony Joshua on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London. The former cruiserweight star successfully went the distance against ‘AJ’ and outboxed him to grab hold of the unified heavyweight straps.
However, it wasn’t an undemanding task. The former Olympic gold medalists unveiled sheer violence and shook each other frequently. That said, Usyk has praised Joshua’s power.

The current heavyweight champion can come across Joshua’s power again. As he has reportedly agreed to re-match ‘AJ’, we may see Oleksandr Usyk come up against an even better version of Anthony Joshua.
‘AJ’, who has never lost in re-matches, avenged a defeat against Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019. Hence, he is experienced in bouncing back from defeats.

Can Anthony Joshua actually beat Oleksandr Usyk?
Relying on his physical advantages, ‘AJ’ has a fair chance of winning. However, Usyk used his stance and fight IQ to nullify that on September 25. He also outfoxed Joshua with his footwork and bamboozled him in the ring. Thus, Anthony Joshua will have to push his limits to defeat the undefeated Oleksandr Usyk.
