The heavyweight division might potentially witness a long-awaited undisputed showdown very soon. WBC heavyweight titleholder, Tyson Fury, has been in talks with the unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, for what many believe, will be one of the biggest clashes in heavyweight history. Meanwhile, there have been disparities in the fight purse split., with Fury also receiving backlash for the same. In fact, Usyk’s manager had a rather interesting response to Fury’s purse-split callout.

Fury recently posted a video on Instagram about the purse split. He said, “I see all this talk of boxing fights. They want 50 percent. Usyk’s like Tyson’s being greedy. Where I’m standing, Usyk you and your team are worth 30 percent. You either take it or you leave it.”
‘The Gypsy King’ further added, “I got a few million dollars. If you want to make some real money, come fight The Gypsy King. But, I will say, for every day from today, that you linger, mess around. I’m gonna deduct one percent from the 30 percent.”

Usyk’s manager, Alexander Krassyuk, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by Fury’s words. In a comment, later tweeted by Michael Benson, he said, “Browsing for fresh underwear in the shopping mall?”
It should be mentioned that Fury looked like he was inside a mall while shooting the video.

There were contrasting opinions from fans after Fury announced his preferred purse split. In fact, a lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts.

Meanwhile, user @Sum_Fool was certain that the 30 percent purse in the Fury fight would be Usyk’s biggest payday.
