Still fresh from his knockout win against Felix Caraballo in June 2020, Shakur Stevenson will enter the ring on December 12 in Top Rank’s headlining bout. He is yet to receive an official opponent, but his return to action has been confirmed.
Bob Arum has verified the news and has sent fight fans into a frenzy. That said, we can expect some high voltage featherweight action by the end of this year. The featherweight unit is already stacked with several elites in their active roster and Shakur is one of them.

However, he will also need to remain consistent with his dominance if he wants to reach the top. In a recent interaction with ESPN, the former WBO featherweight champion appeared excited while announcing his return. Although he doesn’t have an official opponent, he is primed and ready to go.

Talking about his return, ‘Fearless’ said, “I’m excited. I haven’t fought since June, I’m just looking forward to getting back in the ring. I keep calling the big champions out, but nobody is really responding right now. So I’ll get back in the ring next month, then see what happens. I have no clue who I’m fighting or even who the options are, but I’m ready.”
