P4P King Canelo Alvarez has earned appraisals from several boxing pundits and analysts. He has a global fanbase that goes beyond the boxing ring, and the Mexican giant may have found another fan in his corner.

Super-featherweight elite, Shakur Stevenson, claims himself to be a huge fan of Canelo Alvarez. He recently connected with the fans in a media interaction to talk about his upcoming plans.

However, the ‘Fearless’ ended up revealing his love and respect for Alvarez. Not only that, but he also billed the super middleweight champion as the best defensive fighter alongside him and vowed to never trash talk the champion.

Speaking on it, Shakur Stevenson said, “I am a big Canelo fan. You are not gonna hear me say anything bad about Canelo. Canelo goes up in the weight and fights and fight whoever he (wants). He goes back down in the weight, fight whoever. Skills, he got real good skills and I think if we talk about the best defence in boxing and we talk about the best defensive boxers beside me. I think Canelo is the best defensive fighter.”
