Shakur Stevenson brands Ryan Garcia “goofy n***a” despite praise

Yesterday, ‘KingRy’ shared the clip in a now-deleted tweet, but in true Garcia fashion, he didn’t miss the opportunity to take a jab at ‘Chaos’ Covington. He wrote, “Always good doing charity work Hahahab Jk Colby pretty fire night keep punching.” However, later the same clip was picked up by Happy Punch, who circulated it further, attracting Stevenson’s commentary.

After discovering the clip, the Newark native pointed out, “Funny thing is this goofy n***a showing him some good s**t.” As for Covington, he has managed to keep things interesting by evolving his striking abilities throughout his career, but still, his ground game is the MVP in most of his fights. Taking the opponent down to the ground and capitalizing on his wrestling and grappling skills has won him the fights.

While there, Garcia’s fight with Devin Haney came up, and he seemed all praise for the boxer’s acting skills. “I was like, wow. He laughed straight to the bank,” Holloway told Joe Rogan

Acting or not, Garcia’s left hook played a key role in defeating Devin Haney. Something even Shakur Stevenson had to acknowledge. However, the question is, will Stevenson get a shot at Ryan Garcia next? Not to forget, Garcia had previously agreed to fight Stevenson. So, can Garcia cause another upset by defeating Stevenson?
