Stevenson is one of the top challengers in the 130 lbs. division. However, a world title still eludes the American. Despite this, he has called out Oscar Valdez for a title bout and has now responded to Colbert’s comments.

The 15-0 boxer spoke on ‘The Last Stand’ podcast and responded shared a story.

He said, “We was in Missouri, at the ringside tournament. ‘B Hop’ [Colbert] came into the… he came into the weight room while I was checking my weight. And he just started talking mad sh*t to me like, ‘you suck, you not that good.’”

Stevenson then responded by calling him out to a spar. The American recalled they went back to the hotel and arranged an area to spar with just some gloves, without headgear. He then revealed how the sparring session went.

“But sh*t, we started sparring and when I say I f**ked ‘B hop’ up, I f**ked ‘B Hop’ as like. It’s just because he was talking so much sh*t,” said Stevenson.
