Shakur Stevenson is currently one of the hottest prospects in boxing. At the age of just 25 years old, Stevenson is already a champion in two weight classes holding the WBO and WBC junior lightweight titles and formerly holding the WBO featherweight title.

Moreover, Stevenson certainly thinks that he is currently the best boxer in the world, as the boxer recently shared his thoughts on and compared himself to his rival, Gervonta Davis.

Stevenson Expands on his comments

Stevenson made an appearance on the Last Stand show where he was interviewed by Showtime Championship host Brian Custer, who asked Stevenson to expand on the comments he made about his skill in another interview.

“You did an interview and you were quoted as sayingI am more skillful than Tank, he may not be saying it but I feel like it’s the truth. Stevenson is confident in his skill and believes that he can beat Tank and he could certainly be put to the test, as a future fight between the two is not a far-fetched possibility

Shakur Stevenson vs Tank Davis

Stevenson and Davis are currently the two of the best boxers in the world right now. Stevenson has an undefeated record of 18-0 with 9 knockouts, last defeating Oscar Valdez back in April. Davis, on the other hand, also has an undefeated record of 27-0 with a whopping 25 KO victories beating Rolando Romero in spectacular fashion by knocking him out in the 6th round.

If this fight were to happen, it would be an interesting match-up for both fighters and certainly one of the biggest fights in boxing from a fan perspective.
