Stevenson Expands on his comments
Stevenson made an appearance on the Last Stand show where he was interviewed by Showtime Championship host Brian Custer, who asked Stevenson to expand on the comments he made about his skill in another interview.
“You did an interview and you were quoted as saying “ I am more skillful than Tank, he may not be saying it but I feel like it’s the truth. I feel like I’m more skillful than fighter than he is I don’t go down in the rounds I come back”, that’s what Shakur Stevenson said to expand on that tell us what you talking about” Custer asked Stevenson.
Stevenson then responded by stating that he felt he was more talented and skilled than Tank, “I just feel like I’m the more skillful fighter at the end of the day. Tank is like he’s a skillful fighter, but it’s like in his fights he’s like. If he can like be competitive until he could land his shot. “ Stevenson told Custer.
Moreover, the two-division champ even had some praise for his rival,” what I will say with that Rollie fight it was smart the way he played it. He kind of was just boxing, boxing and then railed him into a big shot so. I mean, Tank is a great fighter. I just feel like I’m confident in myself at the end of the day.” He added.
Stevenson is confident in his skill and believes that he can beat Tank and he could certainly be put to the test, as a future fight between the two is not a far-fetched possibility
