This comes because of Mike Tyson saying he wanted to continue fighting after his return against Roy Jones Jr. Briggs jumped at the opportunity and began training for a potential return. He has since called Tyson multiple times; however, he has now shown how desperate he is.

Mr. ‘Let’s Go Champ’ posted a series of videos on his Instagram over the last two weeks. In one video, he displayed his frustration at training and said, “I suck at this. I don’t know why Mike Tyson won’t fight me. I suck at this sh*t. Look at me. Look at me, I suck at this sh*t man. Why Mike don’t fight me? Why he won’t fight me?”
The ‘Cannon’ then jokingly accused Tyson and Holyfield of hating on him and avoiding him. He said, “They hatin’ on me. I don’t know why they won’t give me a shot.” He then rounded off his frustration saying, “Come on y’all, give me a shot.”

This will be bad news for Briggs. Holyfield is 58-years-old and Tyson is 54. How much longer they can go on at this age is anyone’s guess. However, if they were to fight, it would be a cracking fight.

As his nickname ‘Cannon’ suggests, Briggs was a big-punching heavyweight. Mike Tyson was one of the hardest punchers ever seen in boxing. Even though their power may not be at the level, it was in their hey-day, it would be a fantastic prospect.
