Shannon Briggs and Rampage Jackson will meet each other in the boxing ring, followed by the MMA cage. The two fighters have just signed an LOI till now with no formal announcements or venues booked. However, both fighters are keen to make an appearance on the world stage again.

On Bruce Buffer’s podcast ‘It’s Time’ the two fighters spoke to each other via face time as Bruce questioned them. Amidst all the trash talk, Shannon Briggs revealed the bizarre undercard which fans may get to see.

“Let me just say one thing, he got a squad, I call them the MMA pies, they a bunch of pies, they going in the oven. Now let me just say this, we got tentatively, right now I’m in talks with, and thanks to this big a** fool, we got Big Country Roy Nelson vs the Nigerian Nightmare, Samuel Peter.”

“We got Big Bob Sapp, thanks to this pie face, vs Big Baby Miller. Two nights, two fights, each fight, we gotta fight em in the ring, and then we gotta fight em in the cage.” Shannon Briggs confirmed on the podcast.

The most bizarre thing about this fight will be the fact that the fighters will face each other in the boxing ring first, and then the MMA cage. In a never-before-seen event, both Rampage and Briggs are trying to prove that their combat sport is better than the others.

It will be interesting to watch the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, dubbed as one of the best strikers in MMA by Bruce Buffer himself, take on the former Lineal heavyweight champion of the world.

The potential two-fight event will prove challenging for both fighters. Rampage Jackson has never boxed professionally, and Shannon Briggs has never entered the cage professionally. Briggs has, however, competed in kickboxing and has a little of experience.

The two have already started receiving calls and offers from different promotions, venues, and teams willing to make a documentary on the entire event.
