But former renowned pugilist, Shannon Briggs, didn’t seem impressed with Paul fighting someone way below his eccentric weight category.

In a chat alongside Prophet Muscle, Briggs lashed out at the ‘Maverick’ and even called him out for a fight.

He said, “I’m gonna knock this Logan Paul out, man. You know, I trained him and everything. He wanna fight Floyd, Floyd a welterweight. I think he should fight me, who trained them. The man who trained, he should fight me.”

“Since he’s got a death wish. I think he’s very disrespectful, my boy, very disrespectful,”

Briggs reiterated on training the Youtuber during the inception of his boxing days. He even accused Logan Paul of being disrespectful, and this is principally why Briggs wants to pipe down the young gun. The former boxer didn’t like the ‘Maverick’s notion to compete with someone with vast weight class difference.

Logan Paul to have an advantage over Floyd Mayweather with his height and reach?

Paul has a colossal cruiserweight frame. As per BoxRec, he stands 6’2” tall and has a reach of around 76”. Floyd Mayweather, in his extensive career, never competed with someone as giant as him. Not only that, but Paul has a slick advantage over ‘Pretty Boy’ in terms of power.

But even after these several advantages, Paul cannot completely write off the undefeated boxer, who certainly has the best defense and movement in the game.

That said, a fight between the two won’t incline towards one fighter. It promises to be an absolute entertainer and has the ability to stay true to everyone’s expectations.

Moreover, the official dates for this bout are yet to get rolled out. Fans are keen on viewing what approach the duo adapts to tackle each other.
