Shawn Porter and Terence Crawford are now hours away from engaging in 12 elite rounds of pure boxing. Considering that ‘Showtime’ has competed against some of the best welterweights on the planet like Adrien Broner, Keith Thurman, Yordenis Ugas, and Errol Spence Jr, he is definitely a huge step up for the WBO champion.

Over the years, Shawn Porter has racked up 33 professional wins and has also suffered three losses against Kell Brook, Keith Thurman, and Errol Spence Jr. He has also been a world champion at 147 lbs. Despite his losses, the 34-year-old still believes he has what it takes to become one of the greatest of all time.

Porter is easily one of the most skilled and experienced fighters in the sport. He is now looking to cement his position in the division as an all-time greatest by defeating a top pound-for-pound fighter like Terence Crawford.

My goal, a long time ago, was to become the most exciting fighter in the world and once people told me I could become one of the greats of my era, I made that a goal of mine as well. It rests on November 20th,” said Shawn Porter.

Shawn Porter is very excited to face Terence Crawford

Terence Crawford is a force to be reckoned with at three different weight classes. If he manages to defeat Porter, ‘Bud’ will try to go all out to dominate the rest of the top-welterweights like Errol Spence Jr, Keith Thurman, and Yordenis Ugas.

However, getting through Shawn Porter is no easy feat; ‘Showtime’ is in the best state of mind he’s been in a long time, wants to make a statement on fight night, and is clearly very excited to finally get back in the ring with the best at 147.

He’ll have his mind where it needs to be when the fight starts, but I expect to make it as easy as can be. Simply put, Terence has met his match. It’s not up to me to say things to convince anybody of that.

The closer we get, I feel it every day. I haven’t been this excited about a fight in a long time. My fight with Errol Spence Jr, I got excited the week of. This one, I’ve been excited since the WBO made that tweet, so it’s coming, said Shawn Porter.
