This Saturday, the elite welterweight sensation, Shawn Porter, will take up the ring space for another thrilling test in the 147-pound landscape. He will take on the WBO welterweight king and one of the most dominating fighters of recent times, Terence Crawford.

Not only for Porter, but this fight is an equally vital fight for the champ Crawford.
Recently, Porter interacted with Mayweather Promotions. Here, he spilled some beans on his sparring session with Gervonta Davis.
He said, ”You know what, I think getting him on the backend of the sparring was more so just to make sure the eyes, the focus, and everything’s there. He’s one of the sharpest boxers I’ve ever been in the ring with.”

He further added, “I would imagine that Terence would be the sharpest. But, that boy ‘Tank’ is sharp.”
Porter lauded ‘Tank’ for the kind of fighter he is. The undefeated boxing prodigy is one emerging sensation in the sport, and he’s a super-aggressive fighter just like Terence Crawford.

That said, ‘Showtime’ desperately needed someone like ‘Tank’ in his final training sessions ahead of his Saturday night bout. Moving on, Porter will look to bring in his absolute best against Crawford, because a win in this contest might facilitate a title unification fight ahead.
Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter – what to expect
Crawford is an oppressor, whereas Porter is more of a tactical fighter. The duo has certain skill sets in the bag and this matchup is capable enough to lure one and all.
This fight might go long if Porter dictates the pace of the fight. But, given the track record and in-ring conduct of Terence Crawford, it seems he’ll easily dictate the pace of the fight.
