Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall are set to face each other in a historic fight on September 10th. In the works for a long time now, the much-anticipated bout is finally taking place at the O2 Arena in London.

The press conference ahead of the fight displayed the intense rage between the combatants. The American boxer will be defending her WBA, WBC, and IBF titles. On the hand, the British pugilist will be defending her WBO belt.

Brimming with confidence, 27-year-old Shields stated during the press conference, “On September 10th you gonna see a very exciting fight. Especially early on, you know Savannah Marshall being a knockout puncher and me being a knockout puncher and a boxer. But I see myself comet on top, I can knock Savannah Marshall out in rounds 8,9, or 10.”

Notably, the ‘Silent Assassin’ had a reply ready for her opponent, “I win this fight through heart, and me brain, me boxing brain. On September the 10th I will be the new undisputed middleweight champion in the world. And that will be the end of all this GWOAT rubbish.”
