Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall are set to face each other in a historic fight on September 10th. In the works for a long time now, the much-anticipated bout is finally taking place at the O2 Arena in London.
Both the boxers are in the prime of their careers with unbeatable records. Notably, apart from an epic showdown, this fight will be remembered as the first all-professional women’s boxing match to be broadcasted on television.

Their rivalry dates back to almost a decade ago when the two met inside the ring in an amateur boxing match in 2012. Eventually, Marshall won that bout. However, the two of them are going to face each other again now, feeling more fierce and more dangerous than ever.

Brimming with confidence, 27-year-old Shields stated during the press conference, “On September 10th you gonna see a very exciting fight. Especially early on, you know Savannah Marshall being a knockout puncher and me being a knockout puncher and a boxer. But I see myself comet on top, I can knock Savannah Marshall out in rounds 8,9, or 10.”
