Claressa Shields has an undefeated record and has been strutting her way up the boxing ranks. She even gave herself the moniker G.W.O.A.T. due to her outstanding performances to date. Laila Ali, who has fought more than twice as many times as Shields, is fairly certain that she will win.

Ali stated, “I don’t know how to lose first of all. The thing is, but, that’s all talk, right? So let’s just focus on the facts, the fact is that she is just not physically big enough or strong enough to handle me. And she does not have enough skill to move me off of her. Well, these are just the facts.”

Claressa Shields claims Laila Ali’s demands are not relevant

The G.W.O.A.T. previously stated that she would be willing to take on Ali. However, in response to Shields’ remarks, Ali is requesting $5 million to leave retirement and take on Shields. She once asserted that Ali’s demands were irrelevant.

“I’m the current reigning world champion. So if she really wanted to fight, be fair! Stop asking for insane split. It’s ridiculous. Also come out of retirement. Make an official announcement and say you are not retired,” said Shields.

Shields feels that no one believes the remarks coming from Ali. If she really wants it, it is easy for her to put on the boxing gloves again and fight her.
