In an interview with FightHype TV, the former five-division world champion discussed her halftime performance, which drew criticism for being too politically motivated and ‘anti-police’. Mayweather came to her defense and stated that she was a great performer and another entertainer would not have been criticized in this manner. “I think Beyonce, I think she’s a queen, she’s a drop-dead gorgeous woman, she’s a remarkable dancer, and she’s at the pinnacle. If it was anyone else, they wouldn’t have nothing to say,” he told the reporter.

Further, he also claimed that he would never criticize her and also wished that his daughters could someday be like her.” I would never criticize Beyonce. I keep my fingers crossed that someday my daughters can be the next Beyonce you know,” he said.
