Gervonta Davis is having a bit too much fun with this. It seems things are getting tough for Floyd Mayweather. The word out there is that ‘Pretty Boy’ is still wrestling with Dubai officials, striving to secure his journey back home after they stopped him. As per the information available, the reason behind the officials hindering Mayweather’s return is that he allegedly owes some people money. At least, that’s what Davis, 50 Cent, and Rick Glaser have claimed so far.

And now, Davis has some more updates on the situation. Turning to his Instagram story hours earlier, the undefeated Baltimore native shared a post from Gossip Of The City. The post highlighted, “Floyd is being held by government officials in Dubai. He’s trying to work out something with them to be able to return home.”

Further stoking the wildfire, Davis shared what was going on with Mayweather and Dubai officials. He captioned his story, “He tried to leave today, they said ‘Nope, sit still before I f**k you up.’”

Mayweather’s corner hasn’t provided an official word on his whereabouts or the situation Floyd Mayweather has found himself in. However, not long ago, he fired back at Davis by sharing a clip of Davis dancing, raising questions about Davis’ sexuality. Not to mention, Mayweather was also pushing for a fight between Davis and Shakur Stevenson by sharing a clip of Stevenson urging Davis to accept the fight. As this situation was unfolding on social media, Davis’s former opponent chimed in to explain the situation.

Ryan Garcia fought Gervonta Davis last year in April, collecting his first career defeat. However, right after his latest win over Devin Haney, the Victorville native appeared in an interview with ‘Marca’. Reflecting on the ongoing feud between Davis and Mayweather, Garcia claimed he knows exactly what’s fueling their beef.

“I already knew about it, once Gervonta f**ked Floyd Mayweather’s daughter. That’s not even a secret, that’s not something I’m exposing,” Garcia candidly told Marca. It’s unclear why Garcia decided to get involved in the situation. However, it’s worth mentioning that not long ago, he went on a rampage on social media to promote his fight against Haney. And now, he has expressed a desire for a rematch with Davis.

“Just got off the phone with my guy in Dubai, he told me that #Floyd #Mayweather is definitely being held by the Government court system there as he owes a substantial amount of money in Dubai. They take indebtedness over there very seriously. Was told the debt is #unassociated with #Boxing. Floyd’s desperately trying to work things out, to no avail so far. So @Gervontaa #TankDavis is correct that Floyd’s being held there!!!” he wrote on X recently. In fact, 50 Cent also backed Davis’s statements about Mayweather.

Though Floyd Mayweather or his representatives haven’t opened up about the matter, it would be interesting to know what they have to say. However, from what’s visible, the 50-0 boxer’s social media (Instagram stories) are being regularly updated.
