If asked to name two iconic, yet eccentric, Michaels in the world of sports and entertainment, most individuals would pick pop legend, Michael Jackson, and ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ Mike Tyson. Although there have been instances where their antics overshadowed their greatness. There is no denying that both Jackson and Tyson are irreplaceable idols of our times. Meanwhile, fans were intrigued to see a recently resurfaced photograph of both these icons together.

Tyson and Jackson met each other on multiple occasions between the late 1980s and the early 2000s. A rather intriguing fact about their rapport was that Tyson initially hated the pop legend. Notably, Jackson failed to recognize Tyson during a concert in 1988. Tyson was fresh off a knockout victory against Michael Spinks. And ‘Iron’ Mike even stated that Jackson’s actions crushed his ego. This in turn led to Tyson holding a grudge against him. However, the duo later reconciled and went on to become close friends.

Fans were intrigued to see a picture of Mike Tyson with Michael Jackson

Fans of both legends were indeed elated to see their picture together. In fact, they took to the comments to share their thoughts about the same. Many fans paid tribute to both Tyson and Jackson by talking about their legendary statuses. Master Seddy Hassan said, “The two greatest legends.”

And, Agha Sadi mentioned, “Two legends together, nice to see.”

Meanwhile, Moses Maela commented on their strengths, saying, “Only one MJ, one king of pop and only one might champ!”

Similarly, Donald Smith said, “The king of pop and the king of hard knocks.”

Mig Ell, on the other hand, hilariously added, “Beauty and the beast… is.”

A user intriguingly suggested a potential reason behind Jackson’s modified facial features. Brandon Gabourie said, “So that’s what happened to his face.”

Lane John Marice, on the other hand, had an interesting wish, “I’d love to have seen Mike Tyson do the moonwalk. And send his opponent into orbit.”

However, Terry Flemens felt that Jackson seemed a little unsettled around Tyson. He said, “Mike I don’t want to tell you this but he don’t look too happy. You didn’t hold him up did you LOL.”
