Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was notorious not only for decimating his opponents in the ring but also for living a life many wouldn’t imagine in their wildest dream. This included him owning three Bengal tigers who he kept as pets for as long as he could.

However, Tyson had to realize the cost of keeping three wild animals in his home the hard way after he detailed instances where his pets accidentally urinated on him.
Mike Tyson details how his tigers once urinated on him
In an interview with FoxNews, ”Iron Mike’ detailed how he had to leave his home after his tigers fought. This was due to the musk they released while fighting causing the house to smell like a ‘nuclear bomb’ according to him.
“I had to get the whole house flushed out man. You think somebody threw the nuclear bomb on you or something. Man you can’t breathe.” he said.
Moreover, he also revealed that his tigers would sometimes urinate on him if he was not careful around the beasts. ” If you’re not careful sometimes they walk by and pow, hit you with their pi*s. Holy shit they pi*s on you sometimes” he added.

Keeping wild beasts in his home is no small feat by Tyson. However, this is the major drawback that comes with keeping exotic pets as ‘Iron Mike’ found out that tigers cannot be fully tamed.
Tyson shares the time his tigers almost killed him in his bed
Earlier in the interview Tyson also revealed that his tigers almost killed him once when they were in his bed. He stated that he slept with his tigers, who sometimes fought while in bed leading Tyson to drop to the floor while they battled it out.
“I had tigers in my bed. I had two of them in my bed. When they’re in bed, they want to get close. Next thing you know you got two 400-pound cats fighting, holy sh*t and I try to run to the floor and they’re fighting on the bed.” he said

Despite not having a knack for the ordinary, keeping pet tigers was certainly an iconic moment in ‘Kid Dynamite’s life. However, even he was forced to release his pets after many issues relating to their upbringing could not be solved by him.
