The ‘Day of Reckoning’ is almost here, and Deontay Wilder is ready to unleash carnage. At least, that’s what his recent training clip suggests. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is about to get in the ring against Lancashire’s Joseph Parker. This might not have been the fight people wanted, but that’s what they are getting. Nonetheless, the clip of Wilder ahead of the fight has created quite a buzz, leaving fans in awe.

What makes the fight even more interesting is the fact that if Wilder wins (which people expect him to do), he will face Anthony Joshua on March 9 next year. Amid all this anticipation, however, Wilder turned to Instagram to share a clip of him getting some training in before the December 23 fight. Alongside the clip, Wilder wrote in the caption, “In Saudi having an amazing time.” As the clip started circulating on the platform, fans quickly poured in to express their shock.

Powerful shots from Wilder elicit powerful response from fans

Since the clip went live on the platform, it has created quite a frenzy, collecting over 6.3K likes and over a hundred comments from his devoted fans. One user suggested that the people who doubted Wilder after his loss to Tyson Fury should stay just away. “All the people who jumped off the bandwagon, don’t come back,” wrote the user.

Someone else wrote that Deontay Wilder is loved by people regardless of where they are from. “@bronzebomber Is truly loved around the world,” the user commented.

Another user asked Wilder to end the fight in the first round itself – so he could come back to the States. “Let’s gone put him to sleep first round so y’all can get back to the city so we can turn up,” the user wrote.

The next user claimed Wilder still remains the most explosive puncher in the division. The user wrote, “At the end of the day…You are still the most explosive heavyweight…No other can.”

While other users praised Wilder for his moves, this user decided to remind Wilder about some moves he can use in the ring. “Remember, blind him with the jab, then go in with the right …bam baby goodnight,” the user wrote.

Despite most people are overlooking Joseph Parker’s potential while calling the fight predetermined, Wilder claims he isn’t making that mistake.

Deontay Wilder: Taking the biggest risk

According to Wilder, he has a lot more riding on the upcoming fight than Parker. While both fighters have three losses on their record, Wilder’s losses came from Tyson Fury. So, he can still claim to be the second best. However, that may change if he loses the fight. So, during their Face Off interview, Wilder described his thoughts about the upcoming matchup.

“I think it’s me [who’s taking the biggest risk]. I’m taking the biggest risk because they’re looking past Parker, but I’m not,” said Wilder. He also suggested that his future potential fight with Anthony Joshua adds another layer of pressure on him because people are expecting him to succeed against Parker.
