Eddie Hearn‘s promotion, “Matchroom Boxing” recently signed 2020 Olympic gold medalist, Andy Cruz. Although Cruz is yet to turn professional, Hearn is of the opinion that his fighter would defeat the best of the best fighters at lightweight, including the undefeated prospect, Keyshawn Davis. Hearn stated his fighter would be comfortable against anyone at 135 lbs. And that in an ideal world, he would like Cruz to debut against Davis.
Cruz’s professional debut has been highly anticipated and the fans are also under the impression that he might make his debut against Davis. Though, Davis did not welcome Hearn’s comments and shared a hostile response on social media.
