“Stop Trying to Build Your Man Off My Name” – Keyshawn Davis Pulls No Punches Against Eddie Hearn

Eddie Hearn‘s promotion, “Matchroom Boxing” recently signed 2020 Olympic gold medalist, Andy Cruz. Although Cruz is yet to turn professional, Hearn is of the opinion that his fighter would defeat the best of the best fighters at lightweight, including the undefeated prospect, Keyshawn Davis. Hearn stated his fighter would be comfortable against anyone at 135 lbs. And that in an ideal world, he would like Cruz to debut against Davis.
Cruz’s professional debut has been highly anticipated and the fans are also under the impression that he might make his debut against Davis. Though, Davis did not welcome Hearn’s comments and shared a hostile response on social media.

Davis has 8 victories with no defeats, While Cruz is yet to make his debut. Davis took offense to the fact that a boxer who is yet to have a professional bout would fight him. The undefeated boxer took to Social media where he vehemently asked Hearn to not make a name for his fighter by associating Cruz with him. Davis also had a message for Cruz before he has his professional debut. @MichaelBensonn reported the video stating, “Keyshawn Davis responds to Eddie Hearn saying he wants to make a fight between him and Andy Cruz next as Cruz’s pro debut”

In the video, Davis stated, “Tell lil bro, Turn your punches over. You are a pro now. Okay. Turn the punches over. Those snaps don’t get counted when you are a pro.” He had a message for the promoter in which he added, “Eddie Hearn, no more tweeting, stop tweeting my name. You are building this man on my name. This man ain’t touch no type of television in America.”

He vehemently warned Hearn and stated, “Stop tryna build your man off my name. You wanna fight me? Call my promoter.” Will the debutant Cruz be against Davis? Only time can tell. Although Davis had a hostile response, he did not shut the idea of the fight taking place.
Keyshawn Davis impresses Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson gave his take on the rising prospect, Keyshawn Davis. In an episode of his podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson”. Tyson was watching the highlights of the undefeated boxer. Witnessing the same, Tyson stated, “he’s a bad a**”. Tyson also realized that Davis was a hard hitter and added, “He’s a hard puncher.” Kamaru Usman, former UFC welterweight champion, was the guest on the podcast and was in agreement with Tyson.
