It’s in the nature of human beings to always want more from life even after accomplishing great things and boxing legend Mike Tyson is no exception. Despite having one of the most storied careers in boxing history, the heavyweight legend doesn’t seem to be fully satisfied with his accomplishments.
Tyson set the record for becoming the youngest heavyweight champion ever at just 20 years old, a record which is yet to be broken. However, the champ revealed that breaking this record only made him want more from life.

Tyson made an appearance on The Pivot Podcast hosted by former NFL Stars Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark and was asked by Clark about becoming the youngest heavyweight champion.

“What was that feeling like the youngest champion when you finally get to that point and you’re doing it in such emphatic fashion knocking these folks out what did it feel like to you did you feel like you were finally on top of the world.”He asked Tyson.
Iron Mike then goes on to say that becoming a champion for the first time only left him wanting more. He said, “no I want more and more and more and more to crush the world to my feet”. Clark then asked Tyson if he ever reached the point where he gained fulfillment,” How did you get to a point though Mike where you had enough? Was it always you had to get more.” He asked.

Tyson then unveiled that he had a deep void in him that made him want ‘everything‘ and also stated that he had never seen balance in life.”I have a big deep hole yeah I have to have everything, all of it, I wasn’t when I was a young kid I wasn’t in balance it’s either everything or nothing” said Tyson.
How Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history

Tyson made his debut in 1985, and just one year later he was contending for the top crown as he was ready to take on Trevor Berbick for the WBC heavyweight title. Iron Mike was 27-0 at the time and was gaining notoriety for being one of the hardest punchers in the sport.
Moreover, he was true to this reputation as he made quick work of the Jamaican boxer and knocked him out in the second round, becoming the youngest champion at 20 years and 150 days old.
