However, to make ‘Rocky’ into the icon that it is today, actor Sylvester Stallone had to put his body through extreme torture.

Sylvester Stallone got his body fat to an extremely low level

Though Stallone was an actor, he treated his body like a professional who was competing for the Mr. Olympia title. Hence, he hired the services of former Mr. Olympia winner Franco Columbu to help him achieve his ideal body. Additionally, Columbu stated that he worked tirelessly with Stallone and pushed him to the brink.

According to Stallone himself, he had reduced his body fat levels to 2.9, which is extremely dangerous to one’s health. He said, “At the time my body fat got down to 2.9, which is a really dangerous level. I may have looked pretty good on the outside, but inside it was [a] very dangerous thing to do.”
