The stage is set for one of the most anticipated bouts in the history of women’s boxing. Unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano is set to face undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor in a battle of the behemoths. Meanwhile, Serrano’s promoter, Jake Paul, took to social media to call out Taylor for her comments.
Katie Taylor: "As far as Jake Paul – this isn't a game, this is actually a real fight. He's never been involved in a fight like this and he never will be involved in a fight like this. So this is actually a genuine, real fight and he knows nothing about this." [@DAZNBoxing]

Katie Taylor was in an interview with DAZN boxing.
In conversation, Taylor took a dig at Paul by mentioning that he has never been involved in a real fight. She said, “As far as Jake Paul – this isn’t a game, this is actually a real fight. He’s never been involved in a fight like this and he never will be involved in a fight like this.”
She further goes on to say that her bout with Serrano is a real fight, something that Paul ‘knows nothing about’.
Katie I appreciate you thanking me for making this fight happen at a level Eddie never could. But the only thing real is you, your team and Eddie talk a lot of shit but can’t back it up. Respect on your legacy. But Amanda Serrano is the greatest female boxer of all time. And New. https://t.co/2q93rHXLCK

However, this comment, which was later tweeted by Michael Benson, did not sit well with Paul.
Paul responded by calling out Taylor for her comments. He even goes on to mention that he was able to take the fight to a bigger level than Taylor and Eddie Hearn. Paul said, “Katie I appreciate you thanking me for making this fight happen at a level Eddie never could. But the only thing real is you, your team and Eddie talk a lot of s*** but can’t back it up.”
