Former WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson has revealed who he thinks will win between Leo Santa Cruz and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.

‘Tank’ is set for one of the biggest tests of his career against the highly experienced Santa Cruz. Davis is known for being an explosive boxer. However, he hasn’t been tested in the final rounds of a fight. Davis holds immense raw power and usually finishes fights in the early rounds. However, if the fight goes towards the deep end, Santa Cruz might have an advantage.

Shakur Stevenson wants Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis to win

“I want ‘Tank’ to win, but it’s going to be a tough fight. Maybe ‘Tank’ will outbox him for 12 rounds. But I think as the fight goes on it’s going to be in the favor of Santa Cruz because of the pressure. But I think early on ‘Tank’ got the power. I think ‘Tank’ will box too, but we don’t know that,” Stevenson said.

“From the outside looking in Leo, but for those who really know ‘Tank’ and understand that he’s a really good boxer, know that it won’t be easy for Leo either.”

Leo, on the other hand, is known for being a durable fighter and could drag Davis into the latter rounds. However, Davis has lots of potential and could prove to be a highly efficient fighter in the later rounds.
