Experts predict that Tommy Fury will walk over Anthony Taylor in the bout. However, with all the odds stacked against him, Anthony Taylor feels pretty confident that he will be able to deliver a first-round KO against Fury.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM Boxing, Anthony Taylor didn’t shy away from talking about his opponent.

“Like the great Clubber Lang says, he comes forward, he’s tailor-made for me. He’s not impressive he only has the big last name. That’s all he has, and he only has five inches on me… What he does is nothing special. I’ve seen his opponents that he’s fought. I’ll beat every single opponent of his. I’ll knock him out in the first round. Tommy is not special.”

Meanwhile, ‘TNT’ Tommy Fury said he’s training for the bout as if he is preparing to fight Muhammad Ali himself. Hence, it’s clear that the younger Fury brother will not take his opponent lightly.

Tommy Fury vs Anthony Taylor

The fight will take place on Sunday, 29 August at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Fury vs Taylor will kick off the Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul event. In his first US appearance, Tommy Fury will want to captivate the American audience like his brother Tyson Fury did. Fury is taking his boxing career one step at a time, and a win over Anthony Taylor will be an enormous step in his journey to the top.
