Teofimo Lopez Shuts Down Ryan Garcia Fight – “I Can’t Hit Your BI**H”

Newly crowned lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez is talking the talk yet again. The undefeated sensation has now hit out at Ryan Garcia. Lopez, currently injured, is still fresh off a victory against Vasyl Lomachenko. Ryan Garcia, on the other hand, is yet to fight after the lockdown and will face Luke Campbell on January 2, 2021.

Talking to fellow lightweight contender and upcoming star Rolando Romero, Teofimo Lopez brought up the issue. He asked, “Hey Broly, is this possible bro? Am I going to fight Garcia before you, bro? This can’t be. You need to beat him before I do, man. The f**k man…”

Romero was quick to respond and said that Garcia was his fight and Lopez should stay away from it. The ‘Takeover’ then replied, “Yea, you’re right about that. I can’t hit your bi**h”.

Lopez had previously taken an interest in fighting the internet sensation. It would also be one of the many big fights to make at lightweight. However, it now seems that it might not happen since he finished by saying, “alright, I’ll stay away from your bi**h. You his daddy.”

Who will Teofimo Lopez fight next?

There is no dearth of options in the lightweight division right now. Lopez can take his pick of opponents after beating the man to beat. There were immediate rumors of making big fights happens. However, one by one all have fallen through. First Floyd Mayweather confirmed that Gervonta Davis would not fight the 23-year-old next. Now, Ryan Garcia is out of the picture.

The only one that could happen is the Devin Haney fight. Haney’s camp and Haney himself have called him out, and Lopez has also expressed his desire to fight the WBC champion.
