The IBF called for purse bids after Top Rank could not agree on terms with Kambosos Jr. to stage the fight. So what does it mean for the fight now that Triller has won it? Initial reports suggest it could be part of the lucrative Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield card.

Triller was the platform that put on the first exhibition fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson. Since then, rumors have suggested that ‘Iron Mike’ will take on long-time rival Holyfield in his next fight. Chris Mannix from Sports Illustrated claimed the Lopez-Kambosos Jr. fight could be on the undercard of that event.

Given the insane amount Triller has bid to get this fight, they would need a blockbuster event to earn a profit. Therefore, it would make sense from a monetary aspect.

This exciting undercard could come in the form of Jake Paul’s fight against ‘Funky’ Ben Askren. The two are supposed to meet on April 17. And although this is a week before the April 25 date for the Lopez fight, Triller could have the two bouts on the same card for their benefit.
