As per BoxRec, ‘The Takeover’s amateur career stands at 24-8, and all of his wins went to the decision and Lopez fairly emerged victorious in these fights. Lopez lost all his 8 fights with decisions too.
BoxRec also states he never got knocked out cold and thus, taking lessons from the same, he looked to improve in every fight ahead.
‘The Takeover’ made his first amateur ring appearance in 2010. In his very first fight, he locked horns with Omar Gallegos. The debutant Lopez ended up losing this fight with points and scored his very first amateur loss. Also, post that fight, he had a career full of trials, but somehow, Lopez managed to come out on top and stagger his opponents on numerous occasions.

But, the 23-year-old’s fate changed when he turned into a professional boxer in 2016. Ever since then, he never looked back and till today he’s retained his undefeated stint by hammering all his opponents to the pulp.
With that, the Brooklyn fighter now ranks among the most astonishing boxing prospects and he’s going supremely strong with his boxing regime.
