Recently, the champ joined the former welterweight champion and opponent of his previous bout, Shawn Porter. While interacting about the most awaited contest between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr, ‘The Bud’ made a big claim with a stern warning.

He said, “I’m always hundred percent confident. This year. Like I say, I meant I say. Once I beat Spence, If Charlo don’t move up, I’m coming for him.”

Notably, Crawford has added the newly crowned undisputed light middleweight champion, Jermell Charlo, to his hit list. Charlo is coming out of an amazing knockout win against the Argentine pugilist, Brian Castano.

Crawford congratulated Charlo for his amazing win. He said, “I didn’t see the [Charlo vs Castano] fight, but I heard he won by a tenth-round knockout. Congratulations to Charlo, but he’s on my hit list. I got two people on my hit list. Jermell and Spence. Spence is first.”

The Rivalry between Terence Crawford and Jermell Charlo

Crawford is keen on taking a shot at Charlo. Though he knew the fact that he has to move up in the weight class to face Charlo, ‘The Bud’ seems confident about taking the risk.

On the other hand, Charlo did not see Crawford as a tough opponent. Boosting his stature at 154 lbs, Charlo said, “You talkin’ about knocking me out and beatin’ me and all that other s**t. I’m cool with that. It’s whatever.”

Apparently, before squaring off with Charlo, Crawford has to pass a tough test in the ring. He has to beat Spence Jr., which is not going to be easy in any way. Spence Jr. is undefeated and one of the most skilled technicians of this generation.
