WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford has made a big revelation about his next move. The undefeated star took to twitter to break the news. This comes after his blistering performance against Kell Brook took his record to 37-0. The 33-year-old has surprised everyone with his next target. However, this may just be too much to be true, even for the pound-for-pound king.

This is a scary statement for the lightweight division as Crawford was undisputed at 135 lbs. He held all four belts and dominated to the extent of feeling the need to move up in weight for a new challenge. So the prospect of him returning to the division is a big statement on his part. It could also suggest the welterweight division doesn’t interest him anymore.

Furthermore, this would mean he will have to forego his WBO welterweight belt. Thus, a potential fight against Errol Spence Jr. will be off the cards for the foreseeable future. Many fans across the world wanted this fight to happen and were hoping it would be the next fight for both since they were both coming off victories. However, things don’t seem to be heading in that direction.
