Josh Taylor beat Jose Ramirez to become the undisputed super-lightweight champion of the world. ‘The Tartan Tornado’ showed his class and took home the unanimous decision victory, along with all four belts in the division.

The two fought as the main event of a fantastic card that lived up to expectations. Things got heated between the two fighters after the weigh-ins, and this only added to the excitement surrounding this fight.

‘The Tartan Tornado’ went into the bout as the slight favorite; however, Ramirez had the experience on his side. Moreover, given the vast difference in styles, the fight was destined to be a close contest. And that’s exactly what it was.
Both fighters showed their class and hurt each other. Ramirez threw more punches and targeted the body; Taylor stayed patient and picked his shots well. Ultimately, Taylor’s game plan worked better on the night and after two knockdowns and several close rounds, he beat the American.
