Terri Harper is the most talked-about female boxer at present. She is one of the most active female fighters, who’s beaten the likes of some stern contenders of the super featherweight division. But the Brit doesn’t wish to stop here- she is highly keen on challenging other champions at her weight class, thus walking down as the undisputed champion.
Recently, she was in a conversation with Sky Sports. Here she gave an insight into her future and what she wishes to do.
“We’re looking at fighting the other champions in the weight class.

“Bring their A-game, because I’m making massive improvements in the gym and I’m excited to show everyone what I can really do,” she said.

Harper last fought in November 2020 against Katharina Thanderz. Here, she dispatched her opponent in round 9 of the fight and defended her WBC belt. This was her third major title defense, and Harper showcased her abilities to everyone.
The 24-year-old has a clean record of 11 wins and 0 losses. That said, she wants to put this record to test against other champions of the division like Hyun Mi Choi, Maiva Hamadouche, and Mikaela Mayer.
In fact, she expressed her eagerness to take on Mayer in a massive title unification fight.

Terri Harper wants Mikaela Mayer by year-end
In the above interview, the Brit shed some light on her rival Mayer and when she envisages a fight with her. Harper said, “She’s a very good boxer, one of the exciting fighters in this weight category. It’s potentially a big fight for the end of this year.”

Harper and Mayer both exhibit an undefeated track record. Furthermore, the duo share a little feud with each other and this just adds to the hype of this contest.
Prior to her, Terri Harper was in talks to take on Hyun Mi Choi, the WBA super-featherweight champion. If she gets past Mi Choi, Harper will have to make a choice between Mayer and Hamadouche.

However, with her recent comments, Harper is excited to take on Mikaela Mayer by the end of 2021.
