The group was talking about the potential fights in line for Crawford. Moreover, in conversation, Crawford mentioned that he has Jermall Charlo and Errol Spence Jr.. on his ‘hit list’.

As he was leaving, Crawford took the opportunity to call out Spence and Charlo for claiming that they’re from Texas. He said, “For all the people in the world that keep saying this Texas stuff, Texas stuff, Texas stuff. Spence is from New York City, and Charlo and his brother are from Lafayette, Louisiana. Stop saying y’all from Texas.”

Moreover, he also added that he was tired of hearing them claim that they were from Texas.

Spence got to know about Crawford’s statement and he took to social media to call him out. In an Instagram post, he said, “My guy said “hold up hold up I got something to say, Errol spence is not from Texas he is from New York”.

“New York birthed me, Texas raised me,” he further added.

In fact, the champ has always been proud of Texan roots. And his response to Crawford further cements his love for his home state.
