“That Became My Home”- Mike Tyson Says He Made Friends in Prison

Boxing legend, Mike Tyson, has made a startling revelation about his time in prison. Tyson admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed his imprisonment and it became his home.
Tyson was first locked up at the age of 12 due to a series of offenses. Mike revealed he was scared for just one day during his first stint in prison.
However, Tyson soon realized he was locked up with his best friends and soon made it his home.

“Every time I came back I loved being there”- Mike Tyson
“Listen, when I first got locked up I was twelve years old and I was so scared. I went up there, I went to my cell and they closed the door.
“Then it was day time and I had to go breakfast where all the inmates eat breakfast. So when I go to the hall I see all my f—— friends. Now I’m a f—— God. No one better f— with me then.

“So I loved being there. Every time I came back I loved being there. All my friends were there. Nobody is going to touch me, nothing is going to happen to me. That became my home. I became institutionalized,” said Tyson.
Tyson has spent a lot of time in prison and was arrested once again in 1992. Tyson was found guilty of rape and was given a 6-year sentence of which he served 3 and was let out on parole.
Mike revealed he only had a single fight in prison, despite all the time he has served.

“Just one time I had to put punch someone in prison. Somebody said something and I just went over there and hit him. We were locked down for a long time and it was just something that was irritable and I went over there and hit him,” said Tyson.
Tyson has made a stellar comeback despite his troubled past. He currently owns a multi-million dollar business and is set to make a return to boxing.
