‘That’s a Very, Very, Very Tough Fight’: Joe Rogan Gives Jake Paul a Harsh Reality Check About Fighting UFC Legend Anderson Silva

UFC color commentator Joe Logan’s podcast is a globally watched show. Along with other intriguing topics that Rogan talks about, people also look up to Rogan’s speculations about the events in combat sports. The recent possibility of a bout between Jake Paul and UFC fighter Anderson Silva has the boxing community all abuzz. Take a look at what Rogan has to say about it. 

In one of the recent episodes of his podcast, Rogan invited former MMA fighter, Brendan Schaub. As the discussion led to the probable Paul vs. Silva fight, Rogan exclaimed, “I love it, if Jake Paul really decides to fight Anderson, that’s a very very very tough fight.”

Following that, Brendan Schaub mentioned, “Silva just got licensed in Arizona, so the fight will probably take place in Arizona.”

Silva is undoubtedly one of the most well-known UFC fighters of his generation. Despite being an accomplished athlete, the Brazilian, 47, has long since passed his prime. However, only time will tell how this fight plays out. There have been no official announcements about the Paul vs. Silva fight, but the news has already made fans excited about it.  

Anderson Silva comments after receiving his boxing license 

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva recently got a boxing license from Arizona. As Silva received the license, the Arizona commissioner stated, “Congratulations, Mr. Silva. We’re looking forward to what’s to come.” The Brazilian appreciated the gesture and said, ”I’m training hard every day. I’m keeping my mind busy and healthy. I’m so excited.”

The clash between the two is expected to happen on October 29th. The former champ is by far the toughest opponent in Paul’s career. Paul was supposed to go up against Hasim Rahman Jr. on August 6th, but the fight got canceled.

Although Paul has an age advantage, the UFC fighter is a skilled fighter, and he might be a challenging opponent for ‘The Problem Child’. In addition, Silva has previously fought former boxing champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and Tito Ortiz in a boxing setting, and has defeated both of them.
