British boxing sensations Kell Brook and Amir Khan’s fight is long overdue. The duo has been linked to each other multiple times but never actually stepped inside the ring to confront each other. However, a few weeks back, Khan called out Brook yet again for a fight and Brook has a positive response for him.
In a chat with Talk Sport, ‘The Special One’ opened up on fresh remarks made by ‘King Khan’. He said, “I don’t know if it’s a publicity stunt or if he does actually want it. It sounds like he does, and that’s music to my ears.”

Brook acknowledged the fact that this fight wasn’t scheduled for so many years. But now he wants to compensate on the same and give the boxing universe a treat to watch.
‘The Special One’ continued, “I just believe that I’ve got the shot and I’ll find a way to catch his chin and end the night. I’m confident I’d knock him out, definitely yeah.”
Both the former champions are desperate to signify their boxing run again. Khan fought last in 2019 against Billy Dib and secured a win in that fight. On the flip side, Brook lost to the staunch American Terence Crawford and gave away his WBO welterweight belt.
A fight among the duo has the audacity to roll out a challenger for the welterweight title. However, both of them haven’t quite disclosed the weight class they want to fight in, nor the belt they’re chasing.
Despite that, this contest seems to be an absolute cracker that might go down as one of the best events of 2021.
Should Kell Brook take on Amir Khan or wait for someone else in contention?
