Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and Grammy award-winning rapper 50 Cent have had long beef lasting years. The pair were initially best of friends, but things got sour between the two in 2012, stemming from a money dispute. This would be the start of a feud that will live in the public memory for a long time.

Moreover, 50 Cent once even took things a little personally after he tried to make fun of Mayweather’s grand parenting skills. In an interview with the Breakfast Club, 50 Cent claimed that ‘Money’ would take his grandchildren to the gym at any given moment. He added that this made his grandchildren get influenced by all the fighters around the gym, eventually leading them to play with boxing gloves instead of normal toys.

His grandson walked around the gym with little gloves on because he looking. That’s what happens when you babysit in the gym. You dont see nothing but fighters but he looking like he just want to do that like he’ll take out all the toys in the toy box. He’d rather have them gloves you know what I’m saying cause he’s actually around it.” He said.

The former 5-division champion is a grandfather despite his age not reflecting it. Mayweather’s daughter Iyanna is the only one of his children to have had a child of her own. She gave birth to Kentrell Gaulden Jr. whose father also happens to be none other than singer NBA YoungBoy.

50-Cent reveals he squashed his beef with Floyd Mayweather

In the interview, the rapper also revealed that his beef with Mayweather was under the bridge. He claimed to have squashed the feud at a comedy show in Vegas. Moreover, he added that the two had a ton of respect for each other despite their recent differences.

He also revealed what Mayweather said to him after he apologized to him during their conversation at the comedy show. “What took you so long?” he said. This was not all as 50 Cent even took to social media and announced that Mayweather would be attending a Tycoon Weekend comedy event along with him.
