“The brace is a Precautionary”- Anthony Joshua Pictured at Black Lives Matter Protest Despite Knee Injury

Anthony Joshua joined the Black Life Matters protest in Watford and set an example for other celebrities to follow. Joshua was pictured with a leg brace and is currently nursing a minor knee injury. Joshua didn’t let the brace stop him from protesting and was an active member during the march. Injury concerns have cropped up for Joshua, however, he has s assured fans he’ll be fit for the Kubrat Pulev fight.

An unnamed source revealed details of Joshua’s injury concerns.

“Anthony Joshua felt a twinge in his knee while training”

“Anthony felt a slight twinge in his knee while training. The brace is a precautionary measure on the advice of physios.it will be further checked by his doctors but there is no immediate concern.” Said the source to the Sun

Despite his obvious handicap, Joshua walked the streets of Watford initially without support. He was later seen taking a ride in a scooter as the protestors marched through the streets. The recent murder of George Floyd has generated widespread protests in multiple parts of the world. Police brutality against the black community has been a major talking point for ages. Violent behavior against non-violent crimes has plagued the world for years, and the recent murder has certainly brought the issue into the spotlight, Irrespective of the pandemic hundreds and thousands of people protested against Police Brutality.

Joshua was joined by several celebrities on blackout Tuesday. And, he’s been at the forefront of the protests.

Joshua is set to make his return against Kubrat Pulev. However. Plans are on hold due to the pandemic.
